Naval procurement fails on detail rather than availability. Examples include a shackle of the right nominal size but the wrong grade, a wire rope that meets the description but not the load rating, or a part number superseded three revisions ago; any of these gets rejected on receipt and sets the job back weeks. Sourcing against a NATO Stock Number avoids that, because the NSN describes the item precisely rather than approximately.
We supply ship rigging equipment and source NSN-referenced parts for naval maintenance, repair and operational requirements, checking what we supply against the dimensions, materials, load ratings and contractual requirements before it ships. Material and test certificates travel with the order where required, and when a part is obsolete or its number has been superseded, finding the current equivalent is part of the job rather than a reason to come back empty.
