A webbing sling looks simple, but what separates a good one from a problem waiting to happen is the standard it’s built to, the material it’s made of, and the supplier behind it. We have the capacity to manufacture polyester webbing slings in-house, to BS EN1492-1 and BS EN1492-2, in the lengths, configurations, and capacities you actually need.

We can turn around custom specifications, bulk orders, and replacement programmes very quickly, with a selection of slings held in stock, ready to go. Every sling is supplied with full certification and traceable to its manufacturing batch, so the compliance paperwork is in place from the day it arrives.

BS EN1492-1 BS EN1492-2 2006/42/EC 7:1 Safety Factor -40°C to +100°C

Every webbing sling we supply is manufactured to BS EN1492-1, every multi-leg assembly to BS EN1492-2, and the full range conforms to the Machinery Directive 2006/42/EC. The safety factor on our polyester webbing slings is 7:1, the recognised minimum for textile lifting slings used in general industry. Polyester is suitable for use across a temperature range of -40°C to +100°C and has selective chemical resistance; where exposure is likely, we advise on the appropriate specification before manufacture.

Colour coding, individual labelling, and contrasting-colour seam thread are not optional extras on our slings, they are part of how every one is built. That consistency is what lets riggers, inspectors, and LOLER examiners do their job reliably, and what keeps your equipment audit-ready.

A sling is only as safe as the way it’s used. Working load limits depend on the lifting angle, and polyester webbing has selective chemical resistance, so the right sling for the job matters as much as the standard it’s built to. Yes. Bulk supply is a significant part of what we do. Tell us the capacities, lengths, and quantities you need, and we will quote, manufacture, and dispatch. For regular customers, we set up scheduled supply based on forecast usage, so stock is in place when you need it.

Can webbing slings be made to a custom length?

Yes. Because we manufacture in-house, we can make slings to any specified working length, with the eye type, terminal fittings, and capacity you require. Bulk pricing applies to larger orders.

What's the lead time on bulk webbing sling orders?

Lead times depend on the quantity, capacity range, and any custom specifications, but for most orders, we are talking working days rather than weeks. We give a firm delivery date at the point of quoting rather than after the order is placed.

Are your webbing slings supplied with certification?

Yes. Every sling we manufacture is supplied with its certificate of conformity to BS EN1492 and the Machinery Directive 2006/42/EC, individually labelled with its sling number, material, length, date of manufacture, and safety information. The paperwork goes straight into your compliance records.

Do you supply round slings and other sling types as well?

Yes. We supply round slings, chain slings in grade 80 and grade 100, and wire rope slings alongside our webbing range. Tell us the application and we will recommend the right type, or quote a mixed bulk order if you need more than one.
