The Waste Industry Safety and Health (WISH) Forum brings the sector together to raise standards across waste collection, recycling, and disposal. It is an independent, multi-party group, with the Health and Safety Executive sitting alongside trade associations, unions, and local and national government.
At SWL, we support that aim on the ground, working with local authorities and independent waste contractors to keep their lifting and handling equipment safe, examined, and certified.
We carry out inspection, examination and testing on vehicle-mounted bin lifters and hoists, as well as premises-specific lifting and handling systems. We deliver certification on many of the most common lifters in service, including Terberg, Faun, Slim Jim and Razerback.
